Queen Quet of the Gullah/Geechee Nation and Rev Jill Striebinger, ARCWP invite you to join us in a Multicultural Peace Procession to celebrate all our ancestors on All Saints Day, November 1st, 2021 at 4:00 pm at the entrance to Coffin Point Plantation on Saint Helena Island. We will be sharing the cultural traditions of the Gullah/Geechee Culture and Catholic Christian Folk Culture in the form of Blessings and a Procession. Please bring photos of loved ones who have passed away and a candle to carry.

Queen Quet will share information about her culture and do a traditional blessing. Rev. Jill will share briefly about the various Catholic traditions in Europe, South America, and Asia and do a Catholic (Christian) Blessing. We will all walk down to the cemetery, pause and walk back to the beginning. We will say a final prayer to close the procession. Those who wish can come down to the beach at the end of Jeanette Drive to be with their ancestors at the water.
